This area was used as the backdrop of Sitka, Alaska for the movie The Proposal that starred Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Great area for Bed and Breakfasts and old inns.

This photo of this old building was altered in Photoshop. It was a originally in color and a sunny day with a blue cloudless sky. The clouds were added and the building was darkened.

This old billboard was one I passed often. However one day it was in between being changed out. You could see that it was an old style billboard perhaps from the 1950's by the metal slats that made up the surface area. With the old ad removed you could see years of old ads all over the surface some with bright colors. With the fire hydrant in the foreground it made for an interesting photo.
