I captured this seagull in-flight over the sand and the receding water. In the photo you have the actual seagull, it's shadow, as well as it's reflection. It reminded me of the past present and future, thus the name of the photo.

PRINT TITLE: CAPE HENRY LIGHT SPIRAL
The Cape Henry Lighthouse was the first lighthouse authorized by the U.S. government and the first federal construction project under the Constitution. The original contract amount was $15,200 but an additional $2,500 was required to finish the lighthouse.
The aged patina copper interior roof top and the curve of the spiral staircase railing created an interesting photo.

This photo called for an early morning on the beach. I mostly had photographed sunrises, but this time wanted to catch a sunrise. Going out of your way really does help in getting that great shot.

This photo was taken near the Sunset Grille in OBX North Carolina. The sunset was an intense red orange allowing for a great silhouette of the sea gulls just hanging at in their own little social network.

Rockport MA shorelines are unlike most, like the name suggests many rocks line the edge of the coast allowing for some incredible photos. This shot was taken at late dusk as the full moon rose over the water.

This closeup was taken in a vegtable garden on a sunny day with an E500 Olympus and a fixed macro lens.

This beautiful setting sun photo was taken from a boat on Beltsville Lake in Pennsylvania. This was shot with a Minolta 35mm and a 200mm lens at full zoom. It was then scanned and had a paint filter put on it in Photoshop.

This moon rise was photographed in Ocean City, Maryland from a balcony of one of the condos at the Plaza. It was red in color in the low sky. This photo captured some of the clouds as they passed in front of the moon.

PRINT TITLE: TURKEY POINT LIGHTHOUSE
Turkey Point Light is a historic lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay on the east coast of the United States. This photograph was in color originally and a full length shot of the lighthouse. It did not create enough interest in that format, so the photo was taken into Photoshop, cropped and changed to a black and white. Never dismiss a shot that is not standing out as a winner. Changing things up with it may just make it one.

Open air, open water, this sail boat painting started sailing as a simple photograph. Filters and color and some time in Photoshop give it a whole new look. Printed on canvas this painting will fit in any condo at the beach.
